Jenny Dragon presents lyrically driven and vintage inspired folk-pop, fronted by two female singers. Hints of country, jazz, and the days of yore color the songs with sometimes joy, sometimes sorrow and often storytelling, in a truly collaborative project between the Jennys. Sarah Jane and Jodi Jean invite you to explore the heavy side of whimsy.
The Jennys come from a variety of other projects, including The Jodi Jean Band, The Del Moroccos, Derek Nelson & The Musicians, Brian Sharpe & The Associates, Jodi Jean & The Revenuers, Bossa Saravah, Square the Circle, and Modern Conversation, to name some. A combination of these musical experiences and personal histories bring twangy and jazzy guitars, stand up bass, ukeleles, mandolins, violin, and double lead vocal harmonies together to compose Jenny’s songs.
