about

Jenny Dragon presents lyrically driven and vintage inspired folk-pop, fronted by two female singers. Hints of country, jazz, and the days of yore color the songs with sometimes joy, sometimes sorrow and often storytelling, in a truly collaborative project between the Jennys. Sarah Jane and Jodi Jean invite you to explore the heavy side of whimsy.
The Jennys come from a variety of other projects, including The Jodi Jean Band, The Del Moroccos, Derek Nelson & The Musicians, Brian Sharpe & The Associates, Jodi Jean & The Revenuers, Bossa Saravah, Square the Circle, and Modern Conversation, to name some. A combination of these musical experiences and personal histories bring twangy and jazzy guitars, stand up bass, ukeleles, mandolins, violin, and double lead vocal harmonies together to compose Jenny’s songs.

"...an outstanding old time folksy sound and an unbelievably tight performance ... you have the makings of a tremendous evening." - ROOFTOP SESSIONS CHICAGO

"...great vocals and solid low end support ... [and] an amazing sounding psychedelic guitar." - ROOFTOP SESSIONS CHICAGO
